We are the result of a few coworkers who met in 2001 to play a corporate Christmas party and stayed together for our love of music.  As 4 songs turned into 20, then 50, and now close to 150, it became clear that there was something special between us.  With Ed and Rich each bringing more than 20 years of experience we were fortunate to skip a lot of “new band” frustrations.   After years of playing shows together we have learned what we do best and feel our success has been the result of strong work ethic combined with above average professionalism.

Having played hundreds events, over 3 states, we have remained committed to bringing the best show possible to each gig.  While our venues have ranged from the very large with over 1000 participants (City of Keller Point Bash and Corporate Holiday Party at the Anatole), to the very intimate with less than 50 guests (private parties and weddings), most shows have been at local DFW clubs averaging a few hundred patrons. Catering to this type of range requires multiple sound configurations and a broad set list.  In the interest of separating ourselves from other local bands we have invested heavily in our equipment to ensure the highest quality performance.  We have also focused on incorporating seldom covered hits with the standard crowd favorites to provide a unique listening experience.  Lastly, by soliciting the crowd for input at every gig, and recording the data, we have tried to make every effort to stay "in-tune" with our audience.

While playing new places and making new friends is fun, our ultimate goal is to make sure everyone who spends time at a Jonnie Blanco show fully enjoys themselves.  We are also committed to "giving back" to our respective communities.  By donating time, money, and services we feel we are helping make DFW a better place.  We invite you to spend a few minutes learning a little more about who we are and what makes Jonnie Blanco special.
